*Jana Foundation for Family Development Welcomes the Deputy Governor of Lahj*

In a step aimed at enhancing cooperation between civil society organizations and government entities, *Jana Foundation for Family Development* welcomed the *Deputy Governor of Lahj*, Dr. *Ahmed Ibrahim*, on the morning of Wednesday, January 1, 2025, to discuss the development and relief project needs of the governorate, with the goal of improving the living standards of its citizens.

Dr. *Ahmed Ibrahim* emphasized the importance of the meeting and coordination between the local authority and civil society organizations. He explained that this meeting comes as part of a joint effort to assess field needs and prioritize projects that align with the development plans of the governorate.

For its part, *Jana Foundation for Family Development* expressed its willingness to coordinate and collaborate with the governorate to contribute to providing support and implementing projects that promote sustainability. Ms. *Howaida Saleh*, the foundation's president, clarified that the foundation is currently implementing several development projects in the governorate.
